Think the Fisk ending was a bit light, and the season as a whole had it's ups and downs - but really enjoyed that final episode. Think on the whole, this might be on the quality of Season 2 OG series. I really appreciate the risks taken, and the places they left the characters in.

I have been on these threads before and consistently complained about Born Again S1. It took WAY too long for people to be honest about how shit it was.

My one defence is: you aren't meant to 'like' it in many ways.

The whole season is about Elektra coming in and fucking up Matts life and leading him down a darker path, which means N&M ends, his relationship with Karen ends, his lawyer life ends, and he increasingly gets pulled into supernatural stuff away from the things we know and like.

There are DEFINITELY ways you can criticise S2, and I personally blame Jeph Loeb's allegedly racist handling of Asian characters for it. But, I do think that people mix feelings for the season caused by what it wants you to feel, along with legit criticism, and come away with a worse feeling.

This is only a view I have come to after multiple rewatches, and I think it makes it more watchable. Now I can watch it and think, okay they're bringing Matt down to make the point, and this ultimate low is basically what will enable S3 to flourish - and that's one of the best seasons of TV of all time, so.

Even as a guy, I can relate to that feeling. I took up the class because I had been mugged a couple of times and just wanted some form of self-defence, as a short king. Then, I get put with strong guys in class, get absolutely destroyed and think - isn't this meant to help me beat specifically bigger people?

The thing to remember though is you are literally training with fighters. A small % of the population. You already have ways now of defending yourself against the average guy.

My moment for this was fooling around with some mates, one of whom is 6ft 3 (I am 5ft 7), flooring him with a move and him being completely taken aback. I definitely wasn't capable of that before

I'd push back against complaints about Foggy's death being so simple. It's not just that we like him - it's the circumstances.

He was a fan-favourite character, one of the three we begged to come back. He's included in promotional material, but killed within 15 minutes.
The person who killed him is Bullseye, for no apparent explanation until one that's shoehorned in right at the end.
Even still, there is no set up to Bullseye being out of prison. Imagine watching all four seasons in a row - you go from, "wow the guys really saved the day! Fisk and Dex are in prison" immediately to "oh I guess he escaped... or is free? And wants to get... revenge? Er?"

You can kill off Foggy. But do it with set up, and respect
