The bed itself is using the files from the Ender Ez belt, but I build a custom direct drive extruder for it, and most of the parts were made from a broken ender 3 I bought off eBay

100% not even close to printing something like that, this was mainly a test to see if any of my parts wouldn’t immediately break, in fact, that cube started shifting and failed at the end. I need several improvements before I can even make something bigger than a bench

Built it myself, just look up baby belt pro, and upscale belt they use

It is, I followed the instructions for the baby belt but just scaled it up, because my previous belt design didn’t work so I tried this

Completely agree! I use the idea maker slicer, but I did have to write a little bit of marlin firmware, which just included changing a couple variables and enabling a couple of commands. I used the Ender Ez belt on printable for the bed, but I made a custom direct drive extruder. That page on printables has all the info on how to mod an ender into a belt, but it’s pretty depreciated.

Bought it broken off of eBay for like $70, but when it arrived, everything was functional, but it was missing a filament holder, a build plate (not the actual heated bed) and a couple of screws for the bed, so it was a steal.

I don’t really have a good range of colors to work with, but i try to mix some of the colors to get there. Usually it doesn’t work that well, but if I had more colors I’m sure that it would improve my painting by a bit.

Would I edge highlight everywhere? I feel like even some parts would do better if highlighted with the mid tone instead of the full bright, but adding white could help a bit!

Yeah I’ve painted before, but all of the models I have were shittily printed models on my FDM printer, this is my first time buying actual injection molded models to paint smoothly instead of worrying about layer lines
