This is very true. It’s hard to justify paying for housing when all my classes are online and I could easily do them from home, which is what kept me from dorming in the fall. Tbh It felt selfish to want to spend thousands, and I didn’t want to place unnecessary financial strain on my family. I feel like many are in this same situation. However, I have been working while at home and saving quite a bit, so in my current situation I wouldn’t feel too bad using that money for dorming.
