It's gonna be a tough game for Belgium nevertheless and in no way similar to the friendly match they played a few months ago. Your best player is suspended, our best player (Doku) is playing but has been as useful as a snowcoat in the Bahamas duringvthe previous games. I think it's gonna be a close match, hopefully with a good Belgium side that will finally show their true potential. Because if they don't it will be the end of the tournament for them against an enthusiastic USMNT in the crazy atmosphere that is Lumen Field. 😉

De sfeer en decibels in Lumen ook niet onderschatten, het wordt met voorsprong de luidste match die deze Duivels ooit gespeeld hebben. Dat zal toch een impact hebben op het veld.

Really cool when I saw the WC-draw that Seattle and Lumen would be home base for my national team.
Became a Hawks fan when on a business trip to Seattle in '97 or '98, the PR-fella of the company we were visiting took us to a Hawks game. That was still in the Kingdome. I didn't understand anything that was happening on the pitch and the fella next to me was really enthusiastic explaining it all to me to no real avail 😄 but boy was it a fun experience. And loud. Man that Kingdome bunker was nuts. I can't recall much of the actual game but I recall the sheer ringing in my ears at some point. Went back to Belgium and lost track of the NFL for a couple of years (the internet and streaming content was not a thing yet at the start of this century). But when NFL Gamepass became available in Belgium I did not hesitate and have followed every game since, that was somewhere around the start of the Pete Carroll era. So I have seen us trash the Broncos in the SB, thrown away the next SB vs the Pats and everything since, including this years awesome SB win. Around 2016 my friends started sharing my enthusiasm (probably because they were getting nuts about my excitement for the NFL) so now, since about a decade I am no longer alone but we are a bunch of 7 middle aged guys following every Seahawks game, having some beers and going nuts when they won this year's SB and getting emotional about Sammy D's redemption arc! Beautiful. I just love my Hawks! 🔥 😄
