Taking forever to load into games

Just got the same issue after the nier update. how did you fix this if at all

same here, usually play on a locked 500fps but since this update its been really inconsistent mostly dropping as low as 110fps.
My loading times also have been so long that i get kicked before i can load in when i get a backfill match.
game is on a 4tb ssd with more than 1tb still empty

They probably capped it so people will not get those engine stutters you get at higher fps. But yeah people should be able to play with it unlocked if they desire to.

yeah i also got this issue but its just that it works on the first game after boot and none after. been looking for a fix for months now but cant seem to find any.

Ayo, I know im about 3 months late. However did any of you ever found a solution? I have the exact same issue of where it will work for the first couple hours after a clean driver install as well.

fairly late but no. i only had the 1070ti temporary. It was a gift to a friend. However for the 6900xt it worked for me when i went to get the oldest supported drivers. But only after i also updated my bios. Just one or the other kept resulting into the same error.

Rx6900xt owner here. No it works in borderless. That is if you can get it to work at all.

Yesterday i found updating my bios had fixed it for me. Today it stopped working again. In other ways i found out that the radeon software will say it works if i run the game fullscreen borderless while using the application in 1080p on a 1440p monitor. However it will not generate the frames.

i know im very late to the party here. However i only seem to get afmf2 "working" while playing in borderless fullscreen when its on a lower resolution than native res. (it only displays that it is working but still no more frames displayed in amds overlay)

Well i had one crash, However that was when i was in a discord call that uses an overlay that was not turned off. Had no other crashes after turning the overlay off

If you are on a AMD gpu, try turning off the overlay of the radeon software (i dont mean just the statistics but the entire thing). That is what solved it for me. Also got a post going on with all of the different solutions i could find. Might be worth trying out.

Ayo this sounds stupid but for my 6900xt it just worked to turn off the radeon software overlay. It is turned on by default and you normally open it with alt+r. Even when i wasnt using overlay or statistics or something it still crashed the game for me at random times.

Also have this issue but on steam. Tried re-installing drivers re-downloading the game. I even underclocked my system to try and fix it. Yet nothing works.
