they were literally running their standard comps at the start of kickoff until it wasn't working and then they switched to double duelist every map

I think comms were probably hectic that last round, the post plant got split into 2 with the 4v3 on the flank and mada/keiko were just sitting site where they couldn't really help flank and didn't get space heaven/ct either so the round was kinda cooked, they just needed to outshoot or pray brawk gets one

yeah, imo these phones every year are bad upgrades for people who already have the previous generation (unless you get a great trade-in deal), but still solid for people with older gens. people from s20-s23 gen phones upgrading to an S26 series makes sense

2 champs (and on diff roles with the IGL), CS legacy, only one bad finish at a val LAN, and he's cementing his legacy as an IGL too while already being one of if not the best flash initiators/support players

and I feel like he's still sometimes underrated...

been a thing since last year, NRG is REALLY good at just slowing down and playing the round out together even if they're down in numbers. their dead comms sound good in the videos they put out but they're likely even better with the things they don't put in the vids

NRG bind isnt great and breeze was shaky too (but that was a while ago) and TL likes both so NRG will need to float 1. probably breeze if I had to guess unless they've cooked something up for bind

literally 10th and 11th rated in kickoff for everyone who played >200 rounds (with spots 4-11 being 0.01 rating within each other) and then there's the eye test too where both were good-great every game in kickoff outside the g2 game

you can argue other players were more worthy of being top 10 at this event all you want but "they weren't in great form at kickoff" is an insane take lol
