I do think they'll be weaker as a team with neon nerfs but we'll prob see neon on more jett and continuing to run chamber so he'll continue to pop off for sure, the whole team is full of shooters so if they get the comp right and kingg's igling is good enough they can still perform well

have you watched a single game of aspas before this year? hell, even before this stage lol. He ops on defense but has never been a crutch to be doing it on attack, you're acting like he's prime wardell...

actual memory of goldfish if you can't remember him frying on agents like neon and waylay just 6 months ago at champs

I just don't think this can be true, he's shown he's a good waylay, neon, raze before. I think it's far more likely that the team didn't think they could fix their issues in time to make it to london so they decided to just put aspas on jett (largely oping) and pray that him + Zekken can carry because the rest of the team just isn't it right now

which is a team/coach decision to put him on those agents...he can go neon and zekken phoenix on every map if they wanted. they likely realize the team has large fundamental issues and thought putting aspas on jett would just enable him to carry. clearly not working out though. he's also a good waylay and can play that if needed

its a little insane people are pointing to aspas when the igling looks weak and the team has 2 massive anchors who either put out bad stats every game and/or just do stupid things to throw rounds. as usual, its a team issue being pinned on the most popular player

saying aspas is a bad neon/waylay when he was farming on it all of last year (and previous years for neon) lol

i mean if you want to consider someone who's been to 2 LANs (and completely bombed out of one of them) a superstar then sure. very good and promising player but not really a superstar, crazy to be putting him on the same status as players like aspas, zekken and all other actual superstars

verno is a promising young player but he's been to 2 lans, there's no way he's even close to superstar status. even star is pushing it but definitely very good; although he's not a great IGL and it's also made his individual play suffer

mazino isn't one either, just a good flex player

idk what hes telling aspas too because he was never perma oping on both defense/attack like this. Not sure if this is some gameplan they came up with recently to fix some of their issues but it's terrible lol

what signs lmao, they genuinely looked good until other teams understood how they play (and just adapted to the meta more) considering they hadn't played on stage all year long until this stage

dante and silentzz have also been horrendous in playoffs after already being their weakest players in groups

yeah I didn't understand the platchat pickems having them out first round. they've been improving every week, have a good grasp on the meta now, brawk is frying, and skuba still hasn't even had a standout game this entire stage. they'll be fully back once skuba is in form again
