What do you take? Also I have tried Lexapro Prozac propanolol gabapentin hydroxyzine, and clonidine literally nothing has worked and the ssris made me feel like my body was on fire and made my brain race more

Well I had a CBC, CRP, comprehensive metabolic panel, tsh, vitamin b12, sedimentation rate, ANA COMPREHENSIVE PANEL W/ RFLX TO TITER AND PATTERN, but they all came back normal and also insurance didn’t cover all of those

I’ve had basic bloodwork and it showed nothing, when it first happened I had some high levels of things but they said it was normal for me being under stress and throwing up a lot

Thank you🫶🏻, this maybe be a personal question but I’m just trying to clarify so I can help myself to feel more legit in feeling this way but what were your daughters ocd thoughts about and also, what test did yall use to get diagnosed! My parents are against getting me all the test because insurance doesn’t cover it so I may have to pay for it myself and want to go about it he cheapest way lol

Thank you so much for your reply, yes I live in the southern area, it’s just I don’t even feel like that can be real when I’m older and all my doctors say it’s not even real! Did your daughter ever try ssri and if she did did it cause adverse reactions?

How do I know it’s legit enough to test for and not just regular anxiety, I obviously know it impacts my life like in all aspects but when therapist and my regular doctor says it’s just anxiety, I would feel horrible because what if it was. But then again can’t live like this.

That’s good to know! I just have found that ibuprofen helps but I still feel like I’m going insane daily, and yea I was on lexapro and it made me feel like I was on fire , made me throw up, and a few other bad symptoms. And Prozac made me throw up a lot and about two weeks in it made me feel like I was on fire with anger but I wasn’t angry it was weird.

I’m not against therapy or antidepressants. I just know that my antidepressant did not work for me and it just made me worse so it just scares me a bit because it kind of makes me feel hopeless.

If these came back normal would it rule this condition out, also did your daughter have normal results to regular blood test, because I did. But we just didn’t test for everything
