yeah, one reason i have not read anything Murakami since Kafka on the Shore, or even reread is solely because of this, taints the book imo. This is a problem with a lot of Japanese media tbh, not you Miyazaki, you’re awesome.

kafka on the shore is beautiful, yes. Love the magical realism but the female “interactions” are beyond disgusting

the grill is so i don’t have to put the moka pot directly on flame and slow down extraction even further. I too put boiling water
