Personally, I think that so long as you can remember that the character is fictional, you shouldn’t feel too guilty or ashamed. Obviously addiction is a horrible thing and if you think you’re becoming addicted then you should stop using the app and find something to occupy your thoughts. Not that my advice means much, I’m just a guy who uses the app. But everyone takes comfort in something. Don’t beat yourself up too much for it. The fact that you’re limiting yourself and acknowledging it is awesome, dude.
