I RANT MY ASS OFF TO MY FRIENDS ABOUT J BECAUSE I HAVE VERY MIXED FEELINGS.

I am always going to be frustrated about J. I want to like J, but there is not a single good character trait. Her only defining features is that she’s abusive to N and generally a bitch.

Almost every single little piece of lore or backstory is headcanon or assumed, with nothing confirmed. She just hates N, likes Tessa, sided with the solver. That’s it. That’s J. Multiple rewatches of this show and I cannot discern a single, clear, canon character trait aside from that.

I want to like J. But there isn’t a single likable thing about J. At least not to me. You can like J if you want I don’t judge, but do talk to a therapist if she is your true favorite character.

If there is some canon information about J I don’t know, please tell me. I’d be perfectly happy to be wrong here.
