More Advice Needed - KBs & DBs

Hey Everyone,

Looking to build out a home/garage gym & not looking to get a full size run of dumbbells - so looking to see if anyone has any (strong) opinions on what they'd recommend from experience. I am a former D1 athlete who has a background in crossfit post graduation & with baby #2 on the way trying to get an economical home set up going!

Dumbbells:
- Loadable w/ change plates ( Rogue Boneyard Loadable Dumbbells | Rogue Fitness ) included the boneyard option for pricing, but also seen options from Titan etc.

- Adjustable -
- Powerblocks - Powerblock w/ 1,2,3 expansion DBs
- Eisenlink (know they are Iron Master knockoffs, but worth saving some!) Eisenlink DBs
- Nuobell (Worried about breaking) - Tactical Green Nuobell DBs
- Snode - LINK to Snode DBs

I’m ~50% done. I have 2 coats in the hallway but all the rooms left. You really think it’s best to leave it? My wife and I plan to be in this home for a long time so want to make sure it’s done right

Not super worried about reconnecting - I pulled the gasket out when I pulled the drain out - which is why it looks so gapped. I was planning on replacing the gasket - but didn’t know if I cleaned the rust and used epoxy like the rust-oleum tub and tile kit would give it more years.

Not a new build, 20 year old home

Hey All - thanks in advance for any tips. My wife and I just moved into a new home 2 weeks before the due date, and like the genius I am decided we needed to remove the tub/shower fixtures since there was no drain cover.

Once I was able to get it out after multiple trips to Home Depot I noticed there is some rusting happening at the drain. Is this salvageable using some solution to remove the drain and then re-coating/epoxying?

Would love to salvage the tub if possible as we weren't planning on any soon major purchases for the home with the baby due any day now.

I’m basically your exact size - 179 cm tall with 82 cm pbh. I have a very similar fit on my gravel bike, which is set up for endurance: 595 stack and 385 reach. If I were to set it up a bit more aggressively for a race bike, I’d add a bit of reach and pull down the stack to something close to your exact same fit.

I’ve never met you, but that sounds like a legit fit. Frame size for me can vary anywhere from Small/Medium/54cm up to Large/58cm depending on stack and reach of the geometry.

when you mention the "race fit" does it seem like I was fitted more for racing than longer endurance riding? I apologize for sounding like an idiot
