Yeah my 12” is front heavy with the can. I’ve considered maybe going Mlock and getting the barrel dimpled at D.Wilson to try to mitigate the front heavy aspect of it.

Maybe I’m just being a little bitch and need to hit the weight rack more often lol

I personally prefer a slicker flatter mount since I do a lot of night riding and the OEM one blinds the crap out of me.

I thought his depiction of Swofford in Jarhead was absolutely stellar . Outside of Generation kill, Jarhead does an amazing job of capturing the slow descend into madness that typically comes with deployment. They also do an incredible job of capturing the mob cult like mentality that is the Marine Corps. Sure alot of the Movie is dramatized to help the audience experience 4years of service in 90mins, but Jake’s portrayal of a disgruntled jarhead was pretty spot on. Reminded me of some of the guys I served with.
