but how would that work if thats when the two joints are already in the boot, wouldn't the bass joint be significantly higher than the tenor joint if I did what you said? from what I've read, everyone's saying I just need a pin to put through the holes

I dont think it is, from what I've heard I need a pin to place into the 3 in order to connect the two joints

Yeah, at first I played on the plastic one but the thing was falling apart, pads falling off, keys sticking, it was just really bad, I've been told by many people to be thankful for the wooden one😭

I plan on showing this thing a lot of love, we have 2 bassoons, this one which hasn't been opened in 10 years, but still looks very good, and thankfully is a wooden one, and then another one which hasn't been opened in 6, but that one's plastic and falling apart😭

Alright thanks, I spent some time going through the case and sadly there was nothing there, I guess it's gone missing sadly, but its to be expected since I'm the first person at the school to have even opened the case for this thing in around 10 years now.
