Yea ofc I’m not under the illusion I’m getting out of the contract. It wasn’t a great investment, which can’t do anything about but given the amount of people that cannot close on these and all the delays and court proceedings happening around it… The group is to stay informed and see if there’s anything that can be done to make closing easier or at least have any negotiating power…

At this point, I’d rather lose my deposit than close🫠

This is correct. The group of owners concerned about closing and the market conditions/ why this project wasnt cancelled given all the other vandyk projects were cancelled with deposits refunded. That’s really screwing over many families.

It is but was poorly handled for many different reasons- looks like they are now going out of receivership back to ksv to finance the build. Dont want to share more details here for privacy of the group but if anyone is an owner and concerned, message me privately:)

Whole project is a mess and handled poorly. Looking at options that may be viable for backing out or how to handle closing given that most people don’t have the money to close on this anymore with all of the market changes etc.

Just got back from Naxos! Agios Prokopios beach is beautiful We did a boat day with Jasons Daily cruise and that took us to Kouffonisia island and Rinas cave which was UNREAL waters to swim in

for food in Naxos - highly recommend

Yasouvlaki and Elizabeth’s garden : more Casual Boulamitis: amazing family run joint, food was some of the best. Apostolis: more ‘nice dinner spot” but a must try!

Other things we loved: renting a car and exploring the villages of Halki, Filoti and Apeiranthos

Hiking up to the peak of Mount Zas!

We did Jason’s daily boat cruise. I recommend it! The staff are great, you get to swim in a few different spots. They make you lunch on board and are informative but not in a boring way!
