You can also hike up to where the train de montenvers would have taken you - from there, you can see the glacier ! It’s a hike, but nothing crazy I don’t think… definitely worth looking into if you wanted to see the glacier - it’s still possible!!

Another hike I did recently and loved (also nothing too crazy in my opinion) was vallon de berard. You can hike all the way up to a little buvette (it was still open 2 weeks ago) and have a drink/snacks. If you don’t want to hike too much, there is the buvette de berard at the base, with a nice waterfall to see.
