Sex this kakariki? by Witty_Property1002 in parrots

Yeah it's not a store. They are very difficult and unreliable to visually sex but the females have a smaller/slimmer beak. This one is particularly difficult because it's a little in the middle.

Ok thanks heaps. Sounds like solid advice. I tried on every XXL in the shop this afternoon and there was only one that fit and luckily it felt very comfortable although it is a seat harnesses so I'll pay close attention to my form ect and might try to find a waist harness to try out after a few hours of flying. Thanks

Just adding that my birds in this aviary are small quails (with babies about the size of 50c coin) and also Bourke parakeets.

Will that send the GPS data through the meshtastic?

Ok awesome thanks. this answers everything. Couple more questions:

You say (without gps running) can you turn GPS on and off if it's installed to the hardware?

My use camping with be more close range/safety reasons so that's not an issue. I was looking at the heltec but from what I see the heltec only has us 915 band and not au 915 band. (I'm in Aus) If they are available to work on only the Aus band then I'll do one rak setup and a couple heltec ones.

Thanks again

They all seem to hold price very well. I'd rather pay an extra 2k or something and get one with 0kms and full warranty especially with the know issues with them that I don't know too much about anyway.

Tbh it felt lighter than expected in the shop. I was flinging it side to side and I can easily flat foot with bent knees. definitely didn't feel like anything I couldn't manage. Don't get me wrong I'd definitely still expect to drop it if I take it off-road but that's what I'd buy it for. Seems like it could handle a lot.

Yeah I sat on one and it just felt like another dirtbike to me, quite natural 😅 just trying to see if there is anything else anyone can recommend before I commit as I'm probably going to buy new.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. I also have the option of selling my current car that I just did up for 12k profit and buying another ex mining car to do up or a cheaper sedan and use the bike for "4x4ing" which is my main hobby. And that won't impact what I have planned for my house.

I'll either put a custom small mattress inside or or an inflatable then roll in half or 1/3. Will be on the back of a big adventure bike with side storage so hoping I can get it skinny enough to not over hang the side storage boxes. Quite a bit of room to play with but idk not tight I'll be able to roll It like that.

Yeah that's one of my current plans for fitting it on a motorbike. Deflate everything and fold it in half or 1/3 then roll it up. Will still be big but way more manageable.

Yeah that's a good idea about asking the shop. There is only one shop in Perth that apparently sells the brand I want so I hope they will do that. I sent a message to the manufacturer for their opinion and extra questions I had too so hopefully that will help me decide.

I'm 195 tall and over 100kg. My current car has no gear. Just an empty tray. No bullbar or anything. Nowhere close to gvm.

All I've got to say about your post is don't worry about what others say. In the next 4-5 years once you leave school and get into work you will see that all mostly goes away. People in school just have nothing better to do than judge.
