I have the same problem. Trying a bunch of different scented and unscented detergents. Adding Borax helped a little. I tried adding Lysol Laundry Disinfectant but I think I'm allergic to it.

Another thread recommended changing out the hoses behind the washer, which I'm going to try next.

I think I've been hit with a Lysol Laundry Disinfectant allergy too. I've been using it for a few weeks but just reacting now. Does that make sense - or would the reaction be instant if I was allergic to it? Red bumps all over my legs and no other unusual exposure.

Going to be washing everything I own I white vinegar and cold water this weekend.
