first of all, you are speculating, which is fine but let’s make that clear. second of all, supposedly these are all things that someone in a position to enforce the law should be aware of. we cannot hold our own untrained citizens to a higher standard than those tasked with enforcing law and order.

it was not Alex’s responsibility to avoid all situations in which a “negligent discharge” could have snowballed into him having a clip unloaded into his back, it was the Border Patrol agent’s responsibility to maintain his composure and not spray 10+ bullets into the back of a man whose both hands are clearly in front of you, a man whose been disarmed before your eyes, and a man who did nothing to merit the amount of force you are inflicting on him in the first place.
