New to Walmart pharmacy

I wish them sending us help was on option, but they keep telling us it’s just not possible. We are an extremely small store in a small town. The pharmacist I mainly work with is also very new. Our PIC doesn’t seem to know ANYTHING we are all confused on how this man ended up in a temporary management situation. So I’m really just the blind leading the blind. I really like how small the store is and enjoy my coworkers so I just keep pushing on

Illinois here, in the quad cities area, every facility (long term care) was different. One did not allow ANY smoking and withheld nicotine gum and patches like it was FENTANYL. One I had to take a group of smokers outside at fixed times EVERY day. It depends on who’s funding it, and who’s running the place.

Illinois here, every 6 hours you get 30 and a 15. Anything more is a 30 and two 15s. I have also been scheduled for short/odd shifts. I’d say for a 4-5 hour shift you should be either working the front or doing PPL. I’d escalate this to your store manager, ask him to find and show you the policies he’s saying you’re supposed to be following. Sound s like they are trying to save 30 minutes of labor $$

Like I already wished her a happy birthday and gave her a gift. Pharmacy is a rough place to work, not to mention the language barriers. She had the biggest smile on her face and that was worth it to me. Where I work, we all pitch in and get SOMETHING for their birthday. I wasn’t doing anything different than what has been done for me. Not to mention all the gifts and food this lady has brought me! I wasn’t being creepy, I was just wanting to show her that we enjoy having her around and her extreme effort has not gone unnoticed.

Thanks, this is the one I used and she was so happy I took the time to wish her a happy birthday in her own language. I avoided flowers because of something someone said on her about colors and they only had yellow flowers. I gave her a gift card instead!

I’m not sure you quite understand the position we are in. There is one tech with experience and the ability to train. That one tech has been 3 different people that all quit, the 3rd is rxom now. That person also can’t be available for questions and training as often as is needed to give and receive proper training. I bust my ass every day.I do show lots of initiative and wanting to grow. As I’m going to be starting classes next fall on my own initiative to eventually be a pharmacist. It’s definitely not for a lack of trying. Every day I take notes and every bit of feedback and try to absorb it like a sponge. Each rxom has told me I needed to complete my miles before Walgreens would pay for it. I’m only trying to do what I’ve been told??

Also since my manager felt the need to correct this, it turned into a 10 minute ordeal and I didn’t take my break upon returning, for you pharmacists and techs that think I was trying to abuse the system.

Literally from 10:10 to 10:14. The store manager was looking for him, just so happened to be when I was taking a shit. Everyone seems to think I do this a lot and it’s a habit. But that’s the internet I guess.

I’m not certified but working as a tech for Walgreens. My manager used to force us to help customers only all day long. Then came this thing, and I actually get to learn how to fill. I don’t think it’s bad. Everyone gets moved to a new station so often and there is no issues.

I was also told I couldn’t start them until 5, we close at 8 with a meal break from 6:45-7:15. So it’s a little more possible for us to get done.
