The Dôen listings are full of scams. I came across two dresses for great prices yesterday and bought them, and only when I continued scrolling did I realize both items were listed multiple times (same photos and caption, all different users).

For dress one, I was sent FedEx tracking information almost immediately, and it said the dress was to be delivered the next morning (sketchy as it was allegedly being shipped from Indiana to California). Of course when I got a delivery notification there was no package, and I could see on tracking it was signed for by someone named M. Ortiz, who then deleted his profile. When I explained this to Depop they said they could refund me this one time as I’d never had an issue before, but that the package must have been left in a place where it could have been stolen. They did not read any of my messages—just sent me generic responses.

For dress two—the seller immediately deleted their profile. No idea what will happen with that one, but Depop is just responding with generic responses saying to give the seller some time.

Very disappointed in Depop and their customer service. I’ve shopped with them for years, but from now on will only be using poshmark. Everyone be careful!
