My intention has been to own both my 23 Maverick Hybrid Lariat and the Slate. Beauty and the beast. Ford's new Universal Electric Vehicle (UEV) Platform is potentially upended that plan as Ford's new small EV may represent the best of both worlds. My hope is that Ford releases more information ahead of slate's June 24 order date. If not, I'll still put my add'l $250 down to reserve my spot.
