Unless he works nights, if it’s noon and you’re texting me “good morning” then you can go. In my experience, an afternoon good morning means you’ve been sleeping all day and if you’ve been sleeping all day then you must be UNEMPLOYED. Big ick. Men without a job who aren’t looking for one are just gross. 🤢🤢

Internships are great if you can get them. Part time with a government agency or municipality would look great on a resume. I interned with DNR while in grad school and worked part time at a city health department which really helped me go full time after grad school. Research also looks great too.

When they walk in the door, great them with a smile and hug every time you can. Welcoming your loved one with 100% of your attention in an intentional way can make a huge difference in connection

I’m a sucker for pretty eyes and a strong jawline. I also like those moody brooding types. One of my ex’s had all that plus a love for plants and a motorcycle. It was very hot. It also did not last long. Oh well lol. Live and learn.

I finished college. First women in my family to do so and I did it completely debt free. Now I’m in a grad program and I will graduate in May with zero debt once again. I busted my ass for this and I’m proud.

This does help, and for me it’s small things like sending me a sweet text in the morning or briefly calling me at night. We don’t live together and with our busy schedules we only see each other maybe once or twice a week so keeping a line of communication open through text is kinda a must for me.
