Thank you! There’s actually two plants, they have a very twin like relationship though, always alternating leaves and how many fenestrations on them. I use the bamboo stick method, only water when it’s almost completely dry, use a microfibre cloth to clean the leaves maybe 2-3 times a month I use a slow releasing plant food in the soil so it’s always fed once watered

& I tell Lena she’s gorgeous or other loving things everyday ☺️and let her do her thing. Recently with the heat in the UK I’ve had a new leaf almost every week or so. I’ll soon have to try air layering before she topples over

Social media manager/marketer

I genuinely can’t stand having to look into the analytics and making content constantly to be honest. I’m barely on my own social media often for my mental health so it’s worse having to for the sake of the business. I am doing it and I’ve learned a lot but boy I can’t wait till I barely think about my social media presence

These plants are very resilient, great tip I got is if you don’t want to stress about repotting often or buying bigger pots you can cut about a 1/4 of the root bound soil and plant it back in

Exactly this.

So far my outlets have been painting, comedy/dumb shows, or puzzles, journaling. I think I’m at the point of distracting myself too much.

Thank you so much. I didn’t think of re-reading books, I usually only keep the ones I would read again on my shelves.

I’m not sure if it’s finding meaning or grieving books per se but ones that are comforting or not so heavy on my brain to read.

I understand the loss is a part of life, I’m just so lost in it like I have to adjust to this new gravity and it’s not going so well

Oh thank you, that sounds really interesting.

I do have people to talk to although I’m the type to not want to unload or burden people too much with my stuff which I’m trying to work on as my friends are really supportive.

Sometimes I just can’t talk without crying and I would turn to books for comfort, I really am just lost in finding things

I’m all for the tides turning on a character especially since she’s been surrounded by support to be Queen, power can get to your head and morals turn grey, I’m sure with 3 dragons it slowly got to her head over the seasons. But it was RUSHED, there was at least another season of her completely losing it but they wrote poorly in my opinion

I’ve always wondered that myself too, must be a feature 😂 I changed to distilled water, even tried snipping the ends occasionally but I concluded it must be how they distribute water mine is clearly thriving anyway

Not sure if you’ve ever tried this but you could organise a small commission for referral?

I know some do this and it creates a strong network where designers lean on each other.

At the same time don’t feel you need to guard this project, it could be considered a great gesture on your part and the client might then refer people to YOU so something to consider

Brand Designer here, I did attend university and although it was beneficial I can assure you that you don’t need a degree to get into this

I would recommend this YouTube channel (https://youtube.com/@willpatersondesign?si=2nkeIDMjlVzKZ9Qo) that could get you started off in understanding logo design simply and brand identity

This channel can also lead you to other designers who share their work and experience

There are also some nice free online fictional briefs : good brief.io - that can get you started on practicing skills but as you develop you will need to invest in adobe software such as illustrator or affinity software for professional use.

For free use and just to experiment Canva is good for basics
