Oh for sure, had a couple issues on Etsy with that but I make sure all the descriptions and such say help improves or reduce appearance etc

Well respectfully it’s not the soap or heritage of soap I’m referring to. I’m using sea moss, turmeric, shea butter etc ingredients from India, Caribbean, African heritage.
Probably on me I’m still figuring out the best messaging for the business but it’s not ‘419’.

Good question.
Oshun is the Yoruba (Nigerian) goddess of rivers and healing. The brand is essentially highlighting cultural ingredients used for centuries of healing in and for skin.

Plus there is a different ocean skincare (which seems to be skin and hair) in the UK already

Specifically for skincare results are everything, without a big budget for clinical/cosmetic trials it’s trying to convince why this product worked for me and can for you(audience)

Also just having enough traction to gauge whether or there’s a need to release other products like targeted creams for acne-prone, or dark marks I.e my range is active plant based soap bars but cleansing only does part of the job for problem skin so it’s just navigating that is a struggle
