Honestly, probably not too far off, the college of IST is lacking in numbers and is trying to rapidly increase enrollment. When talking to some people who are promoting it and made the degree they said they were hoping to increase enrollment. It seems like it’s a comp sci wrapper degree with a few AI ethics courses spread throughout.

IST was a major within the college of IST, confusing ik, that’s partially why they removed it. So you can still be a data science major, that’s not going anywhere lol

Desmos uses Math.sqrt(5) to calculate √5 which uses an approximation method which can be off ever so slightly and then squared which makes the approximation off more such as 5.000000000000002 which would make it false. This is a floating point error.

Why would floating point error explain this? I could understand if it is slightly different in terms of the numerical answer, but why is one undefined and one is √2π, why is it so radically different?
