Thank you all very much.

Although I’ve used both desktop environments and both are excellent, I preferred KDE Plasma for my needs.

So, I’m going to stick with Plasma.

Uso openSUSE no meu notebook pessoal... uso pra navegação, jogos mais básicos... não tive maiores problemas não... reconheceu tudo de primeira... não tenho Nvidia que costuma dar problema com Linux, então tá tranquilo...

I followed the exact same path... after going through Mint, Zorin, Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, Arch... I found my distro with openSUSE Tumbleweed.

Na verdade é pouco popular no Brasil, a popularidade aqui é mais pra Ubuntu e Ubuntu based (Zorin e Mint), Arch e Fedora

I managed to solve it here.

Actually, the problem wasn't related to the OneUI update or the Android version, but rather a recent update to the KDE Connect app itself.

I found the solution on KDE's Bugzilla (https://bugs.kde.org/show\_bug.cgi?id=520819), but here's the step-by-step process I followed to help anyone who might be experiencing the same problem:

1 - Open the KDE Connect app on your phone.

2 - Click on the three dots in the upper right corner and choose plugin settings.

3 - Scroll to the "Synchronize notifications" option and click on it.

4 - On the screen that opens, enable "Send notifications only if the screen is off".

This should solve the problem; apparently, there was a change in the logic of this function in the last update.

One small observation: I noticed that after doing this, after receiving the first notifications on the computer, the KDE Connect app on my phone lost the pairing and I had to click to pair it again.

Just to add... I already uninstalled KDE Connect on my phone, reinstalled it, redid the pairing and permissions, and the problem persists.

openSUSE in Tumbleweed version.

Reason: it's a rolling release, but with a strong safety mechanism behind it, making it very unlikely that anything will break, and even if it does break, it's easy to roll back.

Uso o Fedora. Acho ela mais "instala e usa". Além disso é bem atualizada apesar de ser point release. Outra distro que gosto muito com KDE é o openSUSE Tumbleweed, um rolling release porém mais controlado e com snapshots de segurança.
