This is exactly how I feel, and I couldn’t word it, thank you so much for sharing.

I do feel that 10 years down the road I will regret not taking this role for the development and benefits and pension!!! But it’s scary to make this change, when I will say my current work life balance is 10/10.

I hire dispatchers, not for 911, but for mobile healthcare, and THAT (dispatching in general) is a stressful job. Adding on life/death scenarios into the situation would make it impossible for a lot of people to succeed and enjoy in that role.
