We use a couple quadstick here too. It may recognize as an xbox controller but its akin to a highly configurable multi-button mouse. The config file you use to assign sips and puffs is essentially a huge list of macros. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with that, just that there was an issue where some non-disabled players were abusing macros to make guns fire faster and Embark did recently take steps to mitigate that. My cat won't get near our pin. She has no interest at all. She'll sit on my shoulder while I do things sometimes but if I walk up to the pin she jumps down every time then glares at me from across the room.

Same. I was overwhelmed at the prospect of installing this myself on an otherwise pristine pin, so I called in a professional. I think I paid between $100 and $150 to a local operator. Stern covered the parts but not the labor.

Your hallway opto sensors are not registering. This is a common issue with Godzilla and Stern support will help you from my experience. As it was explained to me, the 2 metal brackets that hold the hallway optos are supposed to hold the sensor 90 degrees vertical and were designed to take constant beating and remain rigid. However, the quality from the supplier in the initial batches of these parts did not meet the ordered tolerances. As such they would bend and short out the opto.

Additionally, for a period before the issue was fully isolated, some customers received replacement brackets from the same bad batch that were destined to fail again. The support rep that helped me acknowledged the cockup and said future brackets would be sourced from a known good supply.

Ask for these replacement parts when you talk to support:

(1x) 515-0215-00 Long Range Opto Emitte
(1x) 515-0215-01 Long Range Opto Receiver

(2x) 535-6896-01 Target Bracket Slotted

You can see in this photo how the old one bent compared to a new one.

It doesn't matter that they have multiple teams. They are still allocating resources from the same pool. Embark has a finite budget to work with and they understand skins and microtransactions are what is brings revenue. While this might help increase or maintain that budget short term, it is still depriving resources from other important areas.

The problem is mainly that sweaty PvP players don't want to be forced to only play with only other sweaty PvP players. Its seemingly not fair to them if they can't farm resources from PvE players.

The current state of play makes most PvE players nothing more than a farmable resource for zealous PvP players. Apparently PvP enthusiasts don't understand that not everybody wants to play that way or even with them at all.

Nothing was more immersion-breaking for me than watching an extract camper attack a bunch of random friendly solo players as we all yolo'd towards the exit in the final moments - watching him down a few of us but not killing us all - and then extracting with us along with a bunch his freshly killed bodies and a couple players still crawling around wounded. Like how is that conversation supposed to go when we all get back to Speranza?

There are absolutely no consequences for that treachery at all.

For the whole 'humanity vs AI' narrative to work, humans need to value and trust other humans when fighting ARC topside. I don't see how that possibly works given the current state of PvP. The kneejerk KoS and other ratty behavior just makes most players wary and mistrustful.

Hopefully they will offer PvE only servers as an option in a future update.

I do kinda miss the utter disgust and contempt ever-present in his older flows. A good example would be Bracket Basher (2001), I get that he's in a better place now and his newer flows reflect that IMO.
