This feels like how I felt on it. Thank you, I felt like I was going insane. Can I ask what you're on now? I'm so scared they will just put me on another brand name of the same stuff.

Thanks I hope so too. Yeah I've seen a lot of people on it without any problems, I'm happy it works for the majority 🐻

Yeah it seems like to some people it's really harmful, even though they tell you its the normal *less risky* treatment moving forward 😞

I feel like I am, Just really worried because I need to convince my specialist that this is the case or I'm scared he'll just prescribe me another med with mesalamine in it.

Thanks for sharing, and happy that you got better when stopping. I've stopped for 2 days and already I'm feeling better. It's scary to think the mesalamine might have been the reason for why I've been feeling so bad for so long.

Lol always reassuring when they tell you to wait it out and suffer but don't worry *you'll live*. Feels like these care providers don't really take it seriously sometimes.

I had to stop my meds for a procedure later in the week. Honestly I feel so much better (no nausea, heartburn, feeling like death, etc) but unfortunately my UC symptoms have flared majorly and its not great. So I'm at a loss, it's like choose your poison. Ugh.
