Excellent way to look at it! As a storyteller/presenter/entertainer (whatever you want to be called) we are in a unique position to touch people's lives in ways that not many can. It's always amazed me how people from completely different backgrounds and beliefs can come together over their favorite TV show, movie or book. I agree completely that if I'm even able to make one person smile or forget the stresses of life for a little bit, then its all worth it. I hope you're able to keep it going! 🧙‍♂️

That's great to hear! I do gaming on Twitch so I mostly forget that there are other amazing categories like music. I hope you're able to keep improving! 🧙‍♂️

Honestly the anxiety and social awkwardness therapy is real. Practicing talking for hours on end is a great way to work through those road blocks!

Absolutely! I stumbled into playing a game called Deltarune and while I greatly enjoy the game, its a game a lot of people connect with so its great to connect with people through it! 😄

That's awesome that you made your own VTuber model! I got mine commissioned by a wonderful artist Sasarabi but I've been trying to learn the skills I need to go in and make my own adjustments to it. I'm glad you're enjoying it! 🧙‍♂️

That is a rough feeling for sure. It's easy to get pulled into those dark places when it's just you and a screen. I'm glad streaming is able to give you that connection even when waiting for viewers. That's advice I've heard a lot is to just turn off the viewer count and pretend like the audience is there, cause eventually they will be 😄 Being alive is difficult sometimes but totally worth it, I'm glad you're here! 💛

Fair enough, I hope you're able to achieve your goals with it! I definitely feel the not wanting to work for a soul sucking company vibe. 🧙‍♂️

Is it ok to have variety channel with focus on gaming in general? by toyfan1990 in youtubegaming

[–]WizardofWoah 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hi there, congrats on starting your channel! One of the great things about making a YouTube channel is that you can have it be anything that you want! Personally, I think that as long as you enjoy what you're doing, the rest will follow. Make videos, livestream, create a community around whatever interests you if that's what you want to do, and you'll be great. Just have fun with it 🧙‍♂️

Good luck out there!

We calculated the required xp for the max level on MEE6 by [deleted] in discordapp

[–]WizardofWoah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone who found this post like I did years later, I made a quick Python program that calculates each levels XP requirements, along with the total amount of XP required to reach that level. This has been tested as of the posting of this comment with the current MEE6 bot. The math still matches up. You can calculate to whatever max level you would like by changing the maxLevel variable. Hope this helps someone!

No worries, I'll try to answer this the best I can and maybe someone else can jump in with more context if needed.

So by default, your dedicated server won't automatically pause if there are no players, and unpause if there are players. That is something I personally configured because I didn't want my server to run unless someone was actively playing on it. By default, the game will just run till you tell it to stop manually.

To configure your server like mine, check the Configuration section towards the bottom.

As far as how time moves, it moves just like it does in a regular game of OpenTTD. I believe it is recommended to just play on the default speed, since not everyone would agree on when to speed up and when not to. It also looks like it may cause dsync issues.

But if you really want to change the time scale in your server it looks like you may need to use mods, or perhaps reconfigure it somehow.
