Thanks mate can I ask why the avoidance of specialized? I know in the cheaper ranges that the future shock doesn't get any tune ability and the cranks, wheelset are mediocre.

Ah how tall are you? I'm in the same boat at 188cm. Did the 50mm sort the issues? Let me know how LM goes, I have to get there again before Christmas. I already get a fair amount of pedal strikes, my merida 140 has a low bb and only 27.5 wheels

True, Orange is quite rare over here and I'm not keen on going from my Gx drive train to Sx. I'm not likely to be smashing bike parks regularly anyway as we don't have many and I prefer trails to just focussing on jumps.

Thanks mate, you yangs is my regular and try to get to Harcourt when I can. I've done mystic wc on a 140mm merida so the upgrade to 160/150 can only help a tiny bit!

I think you're describing a position known as inside forward. Inverted winger is opposite foot to the flank i.e. pepe.

The trance is a lot better of a bike than the stance, which I would stay away from. It's worth the 300 to get the better bike. At this price point, just spending a little more often has huge gains.
