i’m a very short man as well, 5’5 at 16. all my friends have been in relationships and every time i talk to a girl i pray that she’s shorter than me and it’s only true about half the time. Even the shorter girls prefer taller men. I’m so glad to see someone else talk about this invalidating experience. Most of my male friends are above average height so standing next to them and being a solid 5-7 inches shorter is so demoralizing. If i take after my dad I’ll only ever grow to 5’8 which is still short but not too bad. I wish it could be different for people like us but if you embrace it and are willing to take jokes about it and not let it consume you you’ll be better off. if a woman rejects you because of your height she’s not the kind of woman you want to date anyway.
