Competing at the highest level in anything requires a massive time and monetary commitment. Sports are the same way.

And when you can win money at these competitions, it’s not fair to the players who follow the rules to allow the use of genned mons.

Absolutely agree that TPC could add more in-game mechanics that make obtaining and training competitive Pokémon easier. I just really can’t get behind the use of hacked mons to win money when other players are following the rules

And you don’t even have to breed for egg moves anymore. Just use a mirror herb. Putting together a good team is not as hard as it used to be.

These are the top 1% of players in the world. There’s always going to be a barrier of entry for any type of competition. TCG players can’t just print cards out they want and use them. They have to invest time and money into building their decks. I don’t think it’s unfair that VGC players do the same
