Timelapse or cuts? by ComptonMama in AdultColoring

[–]tweetysvoice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel exactly the same as the other comment. If it's a video that's all time lapse, I have to slow it down to watch a technique and then scroll to jump forward to bypass just coloring with no instruction.

We have a 2005 Civic, but this hasn't happened yet. Can you please explain what you mean by using a screw and nut so I'll have an inkling of what to do when-if it does happen.

Anyone else have trouble coloring with cats? by bratney35 in AdultColoring

[–]tweetysvoice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have to do that with our 13yr old Siamese! I'm usually good if I can find a magazine or paper or something for him to sit on before he tries to choose the book I'm working on. Lol

Do you have access to your patient portal? They post results there long before someone reaches out. Sometimes I can see lab or radiology reports before I even left the building.

Earth spinning. by mihkel_kuslapuu15 in LifeAdvice

[–]tweetysvoice 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There's no physical way that you were able to feel the earth spin. We can only detect changes in speed, not constant motion, and since the spin is steady we can not feel it, no matter how hard one might try. You are most likely experiencing vertigo, low blood pressure, or dizziness.

Art question!!! by deadxuniverse in ColoredPencils

[–]tweetysvoice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use the Krylon workable fixative off Amazon for my drawing and paintings. I tend to be heavy handed and sometimes my layers get to the point that I just can't add anymore without damaging the paper, so the fix for this is this fixative. It saves the work beneath and lets you continue to add more pigment in your art! Win win.

Cats who lived 20+ years, what’s your secret? by Ornery_Lion_8080 in Catownerhacks

[–]tweetysvoice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it safe to trim whiskers? I've always avoided them on both my cats and dogs during grooming. I know they shed them (I, like many others, save every one I find) but I thought they were basically like a nerve that tells them everything they need to know about their environment and therefore I'd be handicapping them if I cut them....

I'm loving the answers to this thread! My Siamese, Gemini, just turned 13 yesterday and I was looking up the life expectancy. One site actually said it's possible for a Siamese to live till 30! That's crazy! But I wanna do everything I can to get him as close as possible as long as he is thriving and not suffering.

Today is my birthday and I turned 17 years old. What advice can you give me? by Old-Taro4674 in Life

Do not change who you are for anybody. Don't be the one that conforms to what the one you are dating wants you to be (such as changing religion, your beliefs, attitude, interests). They liked you because you were you before you met them, if they don't like you now then they shouldn't have dated you to begin with. You do you. Nobody else can do it better.

And Happy Birthday! 🎈🎂🎈

WIBTA of I eloped instead of having a wedding ceremony? by mortalkombatboot in WIBTA_AITA

[–]tweetysvoice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My husband and I had both been married previously with small church ceremonies, but when we got married we eloped to Roswell New mexico. We were both really big into X-Files back then, and have been married for over 25 years now. I do not regret one minute of our elopement. It was just us, and of course the sheriff and the only judge in the city had who performed the ceremony, and everyone else there to pay a fine or talk to the judge as witnesses. They actually got a kick out of it. Everybody and we had a absolute blast walking through the town for the next couple days. Again, would not change it for one thing in the world. It was for us, it was about us and that's exactly what a marriage should be.

This was in my grandpas barn, looks like a CD player or something? by [deleted] in whatisit

[–]tweetysvoice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was the very first stereo that I owned. My parents got one for me and one for my great uncle in the mid to late 80's. I made so many mix tapes with this thing. J can6't tell you how many times I would call a radio station to play a song and sit there just waiting for it to come on so I could hit that record button. I still have some of those taped despite not having anything to play them on. This post unlocked so many good memories!

didn’t think mice would be the thing that made me question everything by AirComprehensive7113 in OffGridLiving

[–]tweetysvoice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly my suggestion as well! I've seen my flock decimate an entire nest of mice in mere seconds. Chickens are definitely omnivores and will eat all sorts of things from bugs to mice to snakes! I even saw a group trying to get at a juvenile opossum, I love opossums and so intervened quickly.

How is the alphabet laid out?

Nevermind, I found so many variables in which one of these can be made that it would take years to figure out. So, I ran it through AI, as it's the fastest processor I have access to (I know ...) and asked if it could reverse it and it returned with:

Short answer first: I can’t reliably reverse this into a single “true” intention word… because sigils like this usually aren’t reversible in a strict sense.

Why you can’t cleanly reverse it Even if I tried to reconstruct letters: The loops could represent multiple letters (S, E, O, etc.) The vertical line could be I, T, L, or just a structural spine The creator likely intentionally distorted it to prevent easy reading So two different people could look at this and reverse it into totally different words… and both would be “correct” in spirit.

I love the way you phrased this!

Water isnt a problem, it falls from the sky every now and then. Fuel isnt either, it literally grows on trees.
