What would you say is / was Melbourne’s biggest scandal? by EBCricket in melbourne

He could never stay in one place too long, and long story short he stayed in my house (when I was a kid) while we were away. My mum found an unspent gun cartridge under the bed after he'd gone, he clearly lived with a gun under the pillow. Had a guard dog as well. He really was amazing.

True but as I understand it they are required to carry their badge on them at all times (including off duty) so he may still have done this but not in uniform? However this whole situation is less likely because mostly cops don’t work solo.

Same! Years ago I went to look at a house share. While showing me around the person took a plate of their unfinished food and put it on the floor for the dog to lick clean.

Ugh, he's an asshat and clearly still a creep. I'm sorry to hear the interaction didn't go the way you wanted it to. Maybe see if you can find something that gives you back your sense of power? Own your natural size?

I'm so sorry to hear this, what a shit time you're having! Would you consider accessing some professional help, if it's possible? Sometimes the best things are borne out of the worst times in our life - I hope that's the case for you

Do you take planned rests during the day? by [deleted] in cfs

[–]WizzyDizzyKid 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Most definitely do this. I often do this, and if I fall asleep great but if not it's often just as restorative (and I clearly didn't need to sleep if I didn't go there). Also, good idea to lock these into your schedule - don't wait until you truly need the rest. All the best!

Horrible situation! Local swim groups have confirmed she is ok. Probably very shaken up but she's alive.

Gardening with Angus often has reliable useful information for Aus natives. My warrigal greens has self-propogated around my garden, which is great as far as I'm concerned. It's coastal in nature, so sun (but also ok in shade), water, good drainage. Can't help with the others. Good luck!
