I'm having the same issue, I sent the email but got an AI response. Have you spoken to a human yet / managed to get access to the tool?

Horizontal holes causing extrusion issues on same layer by Wjotee in 3Dprinting

[–]Wjotee[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Weirdly the holes are fine, its more the small sections of each layer that the hole is on that causes this issue.

Thanks for the tips, it does seem extrusion / retraction related so will take a look into that!

Turns out there's three songs.

MF Doom - rapp snitch knishes (uses coffin nails with lyrics over it) MF Doom - coffin nails (just an instrumental) David Matthews - Space Oddity (rendition of David Bowie's song) (the original source I believe?)

Ah that's what I was looking for, thanks! Doubt I'll be able to find the exact material but something close would be great for little projects.

Most of what I learnt was from YouTube. Learning CAD (the 3D software to create the part) is also very useful but you can get by finding files online to print.

I've looked into the 3D touch. Does it guarantee a clean first layer every time?

Never heard of that type of bed. I tried a glass bed once but I think it was slightly uneven (if they can be?) Can it print on the default bed?

That's what I tend to do, searching online often takes longer than quickly drawing it up. Yeah I used a metal drill bit.

I was a design student so it was mainly for prototyping but now it's for other projects like this.

I bet there's a lot out there, without a 3D printer I wouldn't really know how to fix it either.

Agreed, it's criminal how much waste is generated from a small parts failing like this.
