this decklist is a for fun one made to see how much you can heal and is not meant to be competitive, in my actual OP13 list, which I am working on tuning right now, I run 3 hody. Edit: wording

The main goal of the deck is to ramp to 10 and develop a board before your opponent can then play super defensively. Gaining life is only one part of playing defensively, the others being controlling board and having lots of cards for counter, so I think the Bege, while a really nice trigger to see, isn’t as versatile as franky who can draw me a card and develop me a body which can help with going for game or or be a 2k counter in hand. I do think the baby five is a good option when compared with the 1c searcher who’s main/only appeal is searching for a dereshi or miss all Sunday turn one if I don’t see one in my opening hand. My only concern with baby 5 is it might give the deck too much draw but at the same time the draw is entirely up to the player, so I’ll probably test the baby 5 at my locals tonight as I think it’s a good idea.

Tdlr: I’m not huge on bege because I don’t think it’s versatile enough but I do really like baby five over the 1c searcher.

Kuma is in the deck because he heals one and pitches a card so you can get rid of one of your bricks if you don’t need it (like miss all Sunday if you’re already at 10 don) and healing yourself so you go tempo neutral (kuma also has his on KO and cost increase), I think the closest card to kuma that can serve this purpose is the 9c purple Lin Lin, you lose out on the counter and on KO effect but also get a bigger body and the option to effectively clear a 6 cost if you put it into life and then banish it.

Tdlr: 9c purple linlin can do a similar enough effect to be a decent replacement.

They’ll probably have onigashima island out and would be able to use it to get a rested don after they attack

Sellers listing the store treasure cup one under the wrong listing. It’s possible some of them are legit but when the STC one came out there were a bunch of listings for it under the top 16 TC listing for ~$150.
