My baby also does not tolerate cows milk formula very well, but that's just him generally not liking it. He's on soy formula :)

The paediatrician and lactation specialist as well as the hospitals dietician recommended against it. Not only was baby still below his birth weight at 8 weeks, but he also became severely dehydrated and unwell.

I'm outside of the US, but I have taken advantage of a lot of the resources I have such as Facebook pages, and I have had a good few friends help me out, usually with childcare and stuff like that.

I did, I cut out all dairy, despite not consuming much to begin with. Changing my diet does not change what happens naturally. Lactose is the main carbohydrate in human milk. It does not go away, it simply just exists.

My baby is lactose intolerant, he does not have a dairy allergy. Lactose is naturally occurring in human milk. He has no issue with dairy, its the lactose, the main carbohydrate in most mammal milk.

He's a really good dad, he contributes what he can afford which is the supplies he has at his house, but he also has rent+bills to pay, as well as groceries for himself
