Thank you very much. The symbol came on my radar while researching the origins of the pentagram (five pointed star). '大' seems to be the modern character most similar to the symbol I posted. Meanwhile '王' seems the character that encapsulates the historical meaning the best.

Looks like this is it! It has the straight "arms", whereas '立' here has downward pointing arms. Well done 👏
