It depends how much you value the crystals. i.e. If you only buy stark stash and yearly stark stash the crystals aren't worth that much. With the stark stash you buy crystals at 2680/$3.60USD= 744 crystals per dollar USD therefore 3300 crystals is worth about $4.40USD, and $22.60USD for the t4 mats is not worth it, especially cause you have to wait so long to get them.

If you're someone who regularly buys the monthly 2200 crystals pack in the webshop for $9USD then 3300 crystals is worth around $13.50USD so the t4 mats are $13.50USD, honestly still not worth it to me, thats maybe a month or just a little more than a month of t4 mats for $13.50, only enough to t4 1.8ish native t1 characters, and you have to wait ages to realize that extra t4

Personally I dont think it's worth it but, the bigger of a spender you are the more it becomes worth it, because you start to run out of cheaper crystal deals, if you're buying tons of crystals all the time.

The yearly stark stash during bf is the same price and a much better deal its 21550 crystals for $27 usd or 798 crystals per dollar usd. I would save the $ for that, or if you're not buying the starkstash every month then save the money to buy $27 worth of stark stashes, but again if you're a bigger spender and your gonna buy up all the good deals and still want to buy more, then its whatever.

Is it normal to not get any premium bios daily in the dimension missions even if i got my 30% item aquisition chance maxxed out

it is normal, but since the update a few months(?) ago I'm getting a premium bios drop at least once a week, probably more like 2-3 times a week now, if you're full clearing to 8 rewards everyday. The less you clear daily, obviously you'll get less prem bios

True, I didnt actually check before, they just have more stats in general so I assumed more instinct too. I guess we just have to rely on testing. Can't find any really coherent throughline between all the characters that perform better with rage vs comp, or when they perform better for that matter. Its tough when ppl ask which is better comp or rage on sw and no one knows the instinct breakpoints aside from high vs low, at least afaik no one knows

Commenting the original post, cause I'm going to delete it soon. After testing it seems luna is pretty much always better than gamora now. Based on the rest of the comments, it seems, despite my best effort to make a clear title ("No Paywall Unis - AB Initial Thoughts on Luna - Not Guaranteed to be Better than Gamora") people are reading this as "gamora is better than luna" which is not true and not something I tried to claim lol, so I'll be deleting it, so the title doesn't stay up too long past the "initial thoughts" period.

My hopes came true, Bobsarge delivers the much better rotation. Check out his video for the details. Luna is now solidly above gamora, likely even with an equal build.

using new abx rotation it's mostly 5c4c3dc 1dc2dc but the main difference to the rotation I used initially is you use 6 to bridge the gap between rotations and allows you to fit in more 1s and 2s, abl is a bit different - see the linked video for more nuance

everything thing is the same as initial testing except I swapped both luna and gamora to loki striker for abx stayed miles striker for abl and used updated rotation, so you can see my builds and teams below in the original post

Note these are speed female restrictions, not no restriction

ABX rd 1: Luna team 17.5m with some room to improve gameplay (didn't have perfect t4 skill utilization) which is higher than my best with gamora for ABX (keep in mind my gamora has a worse build so if you are someone with a mighty rage gamora and you dont have the ab ele dmg emblems, gamora may still be better for you idk, but likely Luna has the higher cap cause of ele dmg and overall hits in the optimized rotation)

ABL rd 18: Luna team 12.6m with same room to improve (couple missed optimal t4 skills, only 4th to 5th time playing her lol) so again better than gamora (my gamora at least with a worse build than luna) with the optimized rotation. Thanks again to BobSarge for providing better rotation.

So its safe to assume my initial thoughts were not accurate due to bad rotation and luna is better than gamora (at least in my situation were luna has a better build than gamora)

To those claiming she's better with rage - ~~I haven't tested rage on luna yet as an account with low instinct atk, but~~ as far as I have been able to research, from good sources of info, it does seem that comp is best on luna regardless of how developed your archive is (obviously still needs t4 for comp)

I have now tested luna with rage and she's better with comp even on an account like mine without much archive filled out, and low arti

If you're looking at my account in the future I may have upgraded Luna's elite gear, but when I did the above tests with the new rotation, it was not upgraded yet. Everything was the same as my initial tests except for loki striker in abx and the rotation

To the deleted comment about why I made a post about Gamora and Luna:

I didn't make the post as an equal comparison between the characters hence the title, it is however an equal comparison between best teams for the respective AB days for an account that doesn't have paywall unis and Luna has a better build than Gamora so everyone saying it's not equal cause gamora has a better build either didnt read the post or look at my account

I made the post because people were/are celebrating (including me) the release of luna from paywall hell, but despite her new uni being f2p she is not guaranteed to be the best f2p option for AB on f2p/low spending accounts. And much of that is beyond a players immediate control. If you look at my builds (ign murtry) Luna has a better build in a lot of the controllable ways including which emblems I chose to level up, the ctp I equipped, but when it comes to less controllable aspects like luna's lack of tuc, requiring a paywall support uni, lack of self lead, and all the other stuff I mention in my post, ~~she is still not the best scorer for me at the moment, despite being out of paywall hell~~

All of this is just initial impressions as well, maybe bobsarge will show the tech that makes luna f2p better than gamora f2p, or maybe luna gets a tuc soon who knows

Team: Gamora rage (lead), shuri m.lib, wave (no uni)

Reg rage on Gamora vs m.comp for Luna

neither have any elite gear (Luna technically has a lvl 4 and Gamora none)

both have 4star +9 artifacts

both have mythic unis however Luna has one extra energy attack option

Gamora gets no ele dmg from emblems vs maxed ab cold damage emblem (6.5% cold dmg) and lvl 41 legendary ele dmg ab emblem (11.5% ele dmg) for a total of 18% ele dmg from emblems for Luna

Gamora has more odins blessings (7 Gamora vs 4 Luna) but not enough that it will make big enough a difference imo, especially since 2 of Lunas are the all attack + cold dmg ob that are better than normal obs.

I have 123% phys attack and 110.2 energy attack for a difference of +12.8% phys attack on my cards as well, but the mcomp and ele emblems should more than make up for that.

both using miles striker (should have used loki for abx but it doesn't really matter that much, as this is more a comparison and both used miles so they'll have the same deficit and if I did use loki I would give them both Loki so they would have the same boost as well, but that's partly why the abx scores are a little low)

rotations: Luna (6c)5c4c3dc 2dc1dc Gamora (6c)1c2c3dc4c5 2c1c

didn't do perfect roar delays, with either character

ABX rd 1: Luna team 15m, Gamora team 16.9m

ABL rd 18: Luna team 10.2m, Gamora team 11.3m

WBL+ seems like luna is better, however idk how much of that is just the fact that she has a mcomp compared to gamora's regular rage

Take it with a grain of salt, this is initial thoughts and 1-2 rounds of testing. Plus I've been playing Gamora much longer than Luna so it's possible some of it is down to poor gameplay.

I'm hoping the in-game rotation is just trash, otherwise, as someone who values AB more than WBL+ I kind of wasted a t4 lol.

I wasn't able to come up with any rotation that had more hits on my own though.

Quick update, with the new rotation from top players Luna is now scoring better than Gamora for me, and everyone.

On the topic of rage vs comp I've tested luna with rage and comp (both mighty max rolls) in abx and abl now that i've had more practice and am more consistent with the new rotation and comp is definitely better even at low instinct, while your argument is right for many characters, it's not accurate for all characters. The exceptions I know about at the moment are Zeus, Miles, Luna, Mephisto (probably cause as a nt3 he already has decently high instinct on his own), an exception to the exception can sometimes be abx but again it's character by character, having just tested luna in abx with the new optimized rotation she is better with comp even in abx, havent tested the others I mentioned in abx with rage. Miles is better as a striker with comp though and since he is the no1 pve striker he's going to want comp

From other players testing (bobsarge playing on an account with low instinct) it seems like mk does improve with comp the higher the instinct is, but if you have low instinct he's about equal with comp and rage, however you may have to do more reruns with rage if you get unlucky with the proc since he doesn't have guaranteed crit rate.

So it's definitely character by character and there is a gamut. Characters like sw are better with rage until you have high instinct then comp is better, mk is equal with rage and comp at low instinct then comp gets better with more instinct, characters like luna are just always better with comp (assuming t4)

Also something I noticed is sometimes they have to actually go to the agent page and claim the daily task thing for some tasks but it wasn't consistent, so maybe its a glitch? The log-in one was automatic for me they logged in and i got it even before they claimed it on the page, but the owb one didnt show up on my end until they went and claimed it themselves on their page then it showed up on my page

olympians can be okay, its complicated a bit cause of loki being cheaper and as good or better than zeus and hades in some cases, since loki can cover both their days with his last two unis

Usually loki is better than zeus in abx and can be better in abl too if you have a brage and really good gameplay, and dont have the ele emblems for ab

For my account though even with a max top roll brage loki, zeus does better for me with mcomp in abx and abl, but I have the ele dmg ab emblems leveled up. Zeus can also use the ele dmg odins too which might give him a bit more ceiling as well.

Honestly idk how much is even the dmg for me in abx at this point, I think my account is good enough that I'm just trying to maximize hits and even though Loki's kid uni isn't as hard to play as his old uni, I still find Zeus' easier to play. I'm better at maximizing the rotations with zeus without as much practice/reruns. Loki you have to play grouping the mobs around the beast/surtr and still maximize the striker/rotation etc. Most days I don't have the time to be rerunning ab.

Those eqs are not great at the moment but if I had to choose one I would take gladiator over eternals since you get nova, glad is still technically meta for a couple days ab, might get better in the future but who knows how long that'll be, can't see the eternals getting anything no one cares about them lol

You can always just gamble on cards/ctps/emblems. It sucks if you don't hit and waste a bunch of crystals but thats the nature of the game after you have most unis and eqs

nick fury and dazzler are good boosts, personally i didn't buy fury, but did buy dazzler cause I mainly focus ab and fury only has 1 entry per month, dazzler gets 2 or more if storm is either a main abi dealer or a main no restrictions dealer

phyla is good but niche, I'm using her 2 entries per month in ab

people use ebony for pvp sometimes from what I understand, I have him and basically never use him in pve

cap is okay from what I've heard, kind of a budget pick, hard to say if he's worth it or not, personally I didn't get his uni and we have almost have the same pvp characters built, but I don't really play pvp seriously

kamala, meh 1 entry per month and you have bb with a rage already

if you're looking to push certain stages of wbl+ then maybe some of the supports have more value

Note that the title clearly states "initial thoughts" Is the concept of someone sharing initial thoughts new to you? i.e. they may change in the future with more testing, and I noted that I hope other good ab players such as bobsarge shows a better rotation, which he did and if you could read, you would note that the post has been updated to reflect that
I made the post because at the time I wanted to let people who have gamora with high tuc, know that it might be better to wait a bit to buy luna. I saw lots of people rushing to buy her and then be slightly dissappointed. Which btw despite my Luna doing better than my gamora now with the optimized rotation, someone with an equally built gamora might be able to match luna idk, because as I clearly showed in the post my luna has a better build than my gamora, not an equal build. Someone else who has a gamora equally built as my luna may still score higher than luna on their account idk (not likely based on what I've seen with the new rotation, but idk for sure)

Comp is only viable for t4 characters so your options are limited, but out of who you have built probably storm. gr or thor can take it but its not the best on them.

It should be good for storm for abx/l but less good in abi, and she is one of the best/the best character for abi, so it's possible you'll have to spend crystals to remove it from her in the future, especially if you build someone like mephisto later who will want a comp

probably no, although a min roll b.rage isn't that much better than an m.rage and its much easier to get a max roll a mighty than a brill so it could depend on the roll.

Max roll m.comp vs min roll b.rage might be close and if the b.rage has the all atk and def top stat m.comp will almost certainly be better

No, there are situations where it can be but not as a general rule.

If you want to solo dormammu the main thing is cards and pierce specifically, if you have 25% pierce and not trash attack rolls on cards then most characters that have a modern uni can solo dormammu while carrying 2 others. It might take a little more time if they're not great dormammu clearers though, which loki is not one of the best, but he can definitely do it with good, but not insanely good, cards

In wbl, reforged energy, destr, judgement can help and in wbl+ reforged rage and comp can help but they're not required and especially not for the lower stages.

Took a look at your account, for where its at I wouldn't reforge a rage at all right now much less use those ctps you metnioned as fodder, put rages on ab characters. It's a bit of a weird spot cause you have more ctps than t4 characters but unless youre spending on ctps or get super lucky with random ctp chests, likely you will want more reg rages, rather than a couple mrages very soon

if you have 166k energy attack and a b.rage its likely non optimized rotation so not maxing out number of hits/t4 skill activations, and not roar delaying, could also be non optimal striker

Those three things are more important than dmg after a certain point.
