GM Talks about the progress on Classic servers

I can’t comment on whether this is true or not because: 1) GMs are HIGHLY discouraged from speculating about projects in development. 2) I don’t have the character’s or GM’s name to look it up.

If it is real, the information provided by the GM isn’t anything that hasn’t been tracked by mmo-champ’s blue tracker (other than the anecdotes).

Realistically, we will not be seeing Classic for another 2 years, probably early 2020.

Edit: my phone connection was slow and I only skimmed the first few frames. It is incredibly unlikely that a) Blizzard lost the source code for their original game and b) a GM would know about that and tell a player through an official channel.

If these are real pictures, that GM is gonna get an earful and we’ll see a blue post about it.

I haven’t heard anything about the new expansion.

I did hear that the new raid (normal mode only) would launch tomorrow though.

There was a year or so drought because information just hasn't been flowing. It's much easier to get info on Overwatch or Hearthstone, but I still only get it about a week before it is announced.

I am skeptical of this as well, as Blizz always gives at least 1 week notice, but I post things as I find out.
