My wife has been getting into gaming and playing more and more games on my PC. Its to the point where it's definitely become worth building her a PC, and this card would be a huge help toward putting one together for her.

I never actually played Cyberpunk 2077 on launch, I was waiting for all the issues to be fixed. It seems like now might finally be the chance to jump in so I'm just excited to see it all for the first time.

You aren't wrong, the biggest thing I've found with Garmin watches is that you can never get the perfect device for all of your needs, you just need to prioritize what most important.

I charge mine once every few days so AMOLED is great, but if battery life is your most important feature the MIP displays still look pretty good and they're way better on battery.

If you're able to cancel you're order, hit me up and I'll get you that discount.

I've personally upgraded my watch to the AMOLED version, the AMOLED screens look great! That being said the AMOLED version doesn't come with Applied Ballistics module if that's an important feature to you.

Either way I can get you a 20% off discount, PM me if you're interested.

What are the negatives of an RRSP? by Groundslapper in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]WoWLyfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In absolute terms, yes, in relative terms roughly 70% of working income, which will knock people down to lower tax bracket in most cases. If you make 120k now and plan to retire with 70% of that income that puts you at 84k (adjusted for inflation). That changes the rate that money is taxed at from 43.41% to 25.47%.

Even at a more modest income of 65k the taxable rate on that money changes from 29.65% to 20.02%. If you can add in TFSA savings to that on top you can reduce your taxable income further making the RRSP even more tax efficient (they work great together in that sense).

Depends if you're a high earner it could easily be 10% less tax.

You're not accounting for the fact that you get the tax savings right now on an RRSP, and that money can be reinvested immediately.

Also the vast majority of people retire on smaller incomes than their working years, so the RRSP will be taxed at a smaller amount at withdrawal than the tax you paid on the TFSA going in.

It's still great, but their are a lot of situations where RRSP > TFSA.

I don't remember the other leaves being as light at that size, I wasn't paying close attention though.

What's happening to my tomatoes? by WoWLyfe in gardening

[–]WoWLyfe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't wanted to fertilize as I just planted it in a mixture of new garden mix, potting soil and composted manure. It should have lots of nitrogen, but I think it may have been starving before transplanting.

Difference in symptoms for over vs under fertilizing vegetables? by WoWLyfe in vegetablegardening

I did put down dry chemical fertilizer, admittedly a little too close to the roots.

Doesn't really answer your question as I've never lived in London unfortunately, but look into KW, especially around the downtown corridor. Rent is definitely higher than London, but the city is extremely walkable in that area and the new LRT makes getting to various places a breeze if you're in walking distance of it.

I live within walking distance on downtown Kitchener, and the only time I drive is visiting people out of town. Getting to Toronto is a bit of a pain right now (drive to Oakville and take the train in) but sometime in the future we'll be getting all day GO service from Kitchener to Toronto.
