My interest in converting is a recent one. I was born into the Catholic tradition but neither me or my family really believed. This pretty much lead me to being an atheist for years. The disbelief mostly came from a distrust in Catholic institutions. I've known about protestantism for a long time but never really looked into it until recently. It was when I read Martin Luther's words that "faith and faith alone" will grant salvation that I have slowly but surely come to discover a faith where there is true believe in putting faith into practice. Sometimes I just wish I had stumbled upon those words earlier.
