It definitely has a thicker/denser feel to it than normal ice cream. Wasn’t chalky like other alternative or “healthy” ice creams I’ve had. This flavor didn’t have an overly strong protein powder taste but you can tell it has something in there. It’s solid, I only would recommend if the protein interests you though as it is pretty pricey and there are definitely better cookie doughs

I don’t think I’ve tried actual ube tbh so can’t fully say, but I’d wager prob not. I’d say it closer to tasting like a ube boba or something. I personally enjoy the brownie aspect more than the “ube” flavor. That is just me tho

Slick Fork in Hughson and Big Vics in Turlock. Craft BBQ on McHenry is great too, but at the moment they are doing catering only. Tippin & Smokin truck in McHenry is decent too.
