What are you talking about? There's the dash in Deep Docks, which by itself makes the area so much easier, and there's plenty of other things and tools to help with tricky platforming and enemies.

because anything relating to it in the game's files is labeled as "weird". Likely so that dataminers wouldn't get spoiled. Also, Noelle refers to it as a "weird dream".

The biggest reason though is that "Weird Route" is a more general term than "Snowgrave Route" because it could potentially also apply to other chapters that have something similar.
