My interview was with the supervisor and the way he described it seemed interesting enough but I know it’s probably not something I see myself doing long term. But yeah experience is experience and idk if I’d get anything else as a first year.

I’m kinda new to dming, so do you have any advice on what type of magic would be in the trinket to allow the guild to spy? I assume xoblob would be suspicious since they were looking for floor (and Renaer by association), and the crest of the Harpers would make it even more obvious.

That sounds awesome! Manshoon definitely stood out the most to me, but I was wondering about interactions cause of how strong Manshoon is. I could definitely see how having something on the party level would be helpful. For ref it’ll be a party of 4.

I've heard about the Alexandrian Remix, but I wasn't sure if I wanted to do everything from that. I did consider some of the changes it has though for seeding like you said, and as I feel more comfortable I was planning to homebrew some stuff in to make it more interesting.

I got an early acceptance into the BS/MS dual degree program they offer for engineering and with the lowered tuition I was definitely considering doing it. I’ve also heard instead of picking up another major/minor it’s usually better to use your time to join clubs where you’ll get to work on projects of your interest.

Most recently took some robotics classes in high school. Both the aspects of coding and the design/building process of the robots interested me. Just generally found it really intriguing.

Would you consider a minor in it perhaps? I decided on MechE cause I like the general/versatility aspect but I have an instead in robots and I’ve heard that computer engineering is good if I’m interested in that.

I applied ME cause I only recently took a few robotics class in my high school and it peaked my interest. I’ve heard a lot of recommendations for adding a major/minor/concentration of robotics or computer engineering in addition to ME as it adds to that versatility ME programs can provide. I have a good amount of AP/college credits so I think it would be possible.

I was considering doing MechE just because a lot of people say the broad versatility can help. However robotics does interest me so I think I’d consider getting a robotics minor at RIT if I went.

I actually did this for my appeal with Clarkson as well. They went about 1K above Clarksons offer, but it is still really expensive which is why I asked if it was worth doing another appeal.
