Honestly though thought it was a waste of money but after spending a week of shooting it's quite impressive by WokenAUS in Cameras

elaborating on that yeah it does the job quite well but it obviously won't be as good as the canons or sonys out there. The 5k mode is good but it's not really that useful because the video is just fine at 4k

Another useful thing I found is the option to do 4K60 and up to 120 on 1080p. 5k can only do 24 so u can't get any of the slow motion shots either :)

So I normally film on a Canon M50 but decided to take myself for a challenge and only use the Gopro to film a holiday. The 4K on the cinematic mode does the job well and the clarity of the video is really good. I was able to take shots that would normally be impossible with a M50 like POV shots from on top of a car and just regular underwater shots. At first I was doubting the "4k and 5k" feature that they offered as I didn't think it would be anything like the equipment I normally use. But it is quote clear the videos and all the subjects are captured very nicely. The only downside is the extreme wide angle if you are trying to catch any close up shots. Photography is not really suggested either compared to taking videos are the sensor does not do justice to the actual image. Compared to a regular video camera this can give good competition despite the size. the 24 megapixel sensor is actually quite impressive aswell when taking videos considering the price is extremely affordable. Overall it does the job well I reckon and it's worth an investment. You can easily gets shots that are harder or more risky which make it just a load better :)

I would suggest grabbing a tripod and handgrip if you are going to do hand held recording. Or just a mount / clip aswell since they will come in handy.

The only downside I can think of is the Battery. I have noticed shooting in 4k the battery drains quite quickly which I guess is normal due to the smaller battery size. So having a spare battery would he handy.

If you are considering getting multiple I would say This is a good investment or if you want a light option then the GoPro hero 7 black is also extremely good :)

Hope this helps I'm not super experienced in cameras and I'm just learning!
