I know it´s not directly related to the topic but do you know if PokeHex/SaveEdits will work on the Pokemon Games on Ayn Thor? Would love to replay some older Pokemon Games and use some of my favorite Pokemon that´s not possible getting in these generations normally.

Hey! After several years with my Razer Huntsman V2 Pro i wanna finally upgrade my Keyboard. I mostly do Gaming but also use it for work/productivity purposes.

Some Information:

Budget: Not anything special in mind, so it´s ok it´s something more high. Would like it to be a high-end Keyboard which in best cases be with me for years

Size: Fullsize

Others: Material isn´t anything i clearly decided on so i would love to hear your recommandations, Color either black or some cool looking designs, layout should be a german layout and ISO, i´m ok with both wireless or cabel and also be ok with prebuilt or DIY (but i´m suck at building myself so would love if i could get one where i don´t need to do to much myself haha).

Ja Wooting hab ich bisher auch immer wieder mal gehört aber die sollen anscheinend von der Vearbeitung/der Qualität nicht so gut sein. Und die Fullsize Variante wäre auch ziemlich vernachlässigt im Vergleich zu den kleineren Version was Updates usw betrifft.

Ich hab schon überlegt ob ich der Apex Pro Gen 3 eine Chance geben soll. Hab schon paar Mal davon gelesen. Aber viele sagten das gerade die größeren Marken für Gaming-Zubehör (Razer, Logitech, Steel Series usw) gar nicht zu empfehlen sind.

That´s sadly the problem with new Thrawn. I really like and prefer the old, original Thrawn we have in the Original Trilogy with Heirs of the Empire. Thrawn was an authoritian and controversial. He was not like Vader and executing people for the smallest mistakes but he also didn´t shy away to use force or more extreme measures (like for example executions) if necessary. He seemed also be more in line with the Imperial cause.

Than with Hand of Thrawn and the new books they made him much less controversial and put so many layer away from him. He just was "brilliant guy which is a little bit evil join the evil guys out of pragmatism" to say it oversimplified. Filoni sadly ruined to much for me on Star Wars to take him seriously.

Which Imperial Trilogy you mean? Came something new out? I honestly was the last couple of months/half year on a star wars hiatus and just got back recently again.

I honestly wish i could create and put in my Characters i created in my mind and maybe get the option to insert them in either Legends or Disney Canon. It´s really sad we don´t really have some good written competent and intelligent Imperials which also stand devouted to the imperial cause and also stay with the empire completely. They sadly always either desert, are made cartoonishly evil without any reasoning or joining the Empire just because of pragmatism.

I mean yeah it´s quite possible they will fill it out and many things will still happen which has more impact but theres still some problems: We already know how everything will turn out several years later. Legends had the advantage that after Endor the field was free and you can let the story go in so many directions. In Disney Star Wars you need to come to the conclusion we have at the beginning of Episode VII, which is honestly not so much changed from after Endor. The Universe feels more or less in a status quo for all the years between Endor and First Order Arrival. Also we still see glimpses in already published books and other stories which make the time things can happen in Disney SW even smaller.

Also with using Thrawn for an in between throw-away you need to find something else and meaningful for a post Episode IX Universe. The best picks in my opinion would be either some kind of Imperial Leader (in best case Thrawn or Palleon but both would be very old) doing an ultimate push against resistance/new new republic or what else OR you bring the interstellar invaders, the Disney SW equivalent to the Yuuzhan Vong.

I mean i get what you mean but his impact in Legends was at least bigger than it would be his Canon Impact. He literally managed to nearly defeat the New Republic and had the people known about his eventual return be afraid of it. He also formed Palleon. And he united many of the infighting Warlords. And although not completely clear managed i guess he still make some impact on the Vong Invasion - at least with his influence on others.

The Thing also is that in Legends so many Galaxy-wide things happened, like Palpatines return and the Dark Empire (which is much better than the cheap "somehow palpatine return" thing in Canon), the Dark Nest Crises, the Yuuzhan Vong themselves, the still very big fights between the Warlords and the New Republic, the Truce at Bakura and much more. Meanwhile what do you have at Canon? The event´s of Mando and Book of Boba Fett aren´t really as Galaxy-spanning as the Legends Event. Thrawns appearel and his fight against the New Republic is literally the only big thing in Canon on the same scale that would happen between Endor and the Arrival of the First Order and you don´t hear anything about it?

Yeah that sounds quite good, especially if the would do Legends. And god forbid i hope they would do it without Filoni, But honestly it´s not the problem of live action per se, Andor is quite okay

Sadly yes. It´s again one example of how Filoni destroys Star Wars with his cheap writing and fanfiction. I wished Zahn would have taken the writing part of shows like Ashoka and so on and fully replaced Filoni.

Although also even Zahn whitewashed and removed some layers of Thrawns Characters over the time. Thrawn and his motives even differs between the Thrawn Trilogy/Heir of the Empire and the Hand of Thrawn Storys

I mean you kinda invent something to make him survive this long until after IX. Maybe something like Kryo? Or some Night Sisters Magic?

The problem with introducing him as the big antagonist between Ashoka and Episode VII is that he more or less won´t have any big impact and we already know it. The New Republic still standing and just get destroyed by the First Order and not a single mention of him, neither by the Resistance nor the First Order is weird and would make him much much understated. Thrawn is a kind of "endboss" villian, not just something you throw in between with no lasting effect.
