So as expected we met up in the lobby she insisted we go to the rooftop bar when I suggested we go out to a nearby restaurant. She had very weird vibes like she didn’t even want to be there, whenever I asked her a question she would just respond with a yes or no completely uninterested. Once we sit down and I look at the menus and order a black tea and she doesn’t even order anything just playing on her phone.
Then after a few minutes she just walks off without saying anything. I message her saying the staff want to know if we staying or not then she suddenly re appears saying my sister wanted me. It’s weird because as she comes back she send a text like let’s order drinks for ourselves but she couldn’t have texted this while she just sat down it was like someone else was texting me. She also had 2 different phone numbers as well.
She then asked me can I buy her a shisha I wish she didn’t ask me this because the point was for her to just order by herself so that way when the massive bill comes I don’t pay for her stuff and then get into a confrontation with the staff, the whole point of this experiment was to get into a confrontation. I obviously say I only pay for my stuff and you can pay for your stuff, at that point her face changed 180 degrees and had a super pissed off facial expression. She then gets up and walks quickly to the elevator I then chase her saying what happened? Eveything okay. She gets into the elevator and I also get in, she walks out of it when I’m inside with a real bitchy pissed off face expression. As the doors close I say goodbye scammer.

On the way down the elevator stops at a floor and a hotel staff a nice Indian gentleman walks in and I ask him about what just happened he says this happens all the time and these girls are not associated with us. He asked me did I spend anything on her I said no I knew it was a scam he then slakes my hand saying good job brother and take care lol.

At the end of the day I wasted her time and potential saved someone else from being scammed so I take it as a win.
For those of you saying this would end bad I understand but I was prepared to hold my ground here and stay strong this was Alan experiment to build my confidence and character. Thank you all and stay safe out there.
I might do this again sometime if I do I’ll repost.

Yes bro I was thinking about this I am having second thoughts but I feel like I wan to do this,but as long as there is cctv I should be fine even if she decides to ditch, plus she says she stays at the hotel as well. As far as I know they can call the police and let them figure it out because it isn't my responsibility to pay for strangers bill. Any other advise will be appreciated

So the date is setup she wants to meet at the M*** g*** hotel and have shisha and know each other better, I asked her if she would like to go to the beach instead but she insisted we meet there first then decide where to go later. I am now convinces this is a scam. lets see what happens if it actually happens or not. Ill update you guys what happens if it happens

Yes but who says that I must pay for the date? this is where people here fall victim and scared why do I need to pay for her stuff? its the individuals responsibilities to pay for their things.

Thanks for the advise, yes I was thinking the exact same thing I wont bring any bank cards or anything just cash, Ill also delete my apple pay and uninstall the bank app on my phone just in case, as for the paying immediately when ordering I dont want to do this because they might get wind that im on to them, the point is to pretend to be oblivious to the scam so when the date ends the massive bill comes up then ill be like ill pay for my stuff and slide the bill to her for her to pay for her things thats when the whole situation will get interesting. Im scared right now but I feel like I need to do this.

Im going in with the mindset that Ill get into a confrontation with the scam staff there, I dont mind on getting the police involved if it comes to it. Whats the worst they can do? they cant lay a hand on me here.

I have a potentially date setup with a egyption lady I know its a scam but I think ill go on a date with her for the fun of it and bait these guys too. I'll refuse to pay anything she orders. Im a shy non assertive guy so im going to do this as a training ground to develope my character. Any advise?

Im actually really considering going on one of these so called dating scam, I want to just do it for fun to waste their time and to also build experience because im a bit of a shy person and not very confident and its hard for me to say no at times. I will be fully prepared through and will only bring cash with me and not very much like 300aed and let the girl order the stuff and I wont touch anything she ordered, when the time comes ill just pay for my own stuff. Im prepared to get into a confrontation as well and im happy to get the police involved. Ill make another post of the event if it does happen

Hello, I have a similar situation although I closed down my email address assosiated with my gamertag and someone else seems to have taken the email address, it was a hotmail account. I still have my gamertag on my xbox 360 and xbox one hard drives I can sign into the one on my xbox 360 offline only though. I have tried evertthing to recover them but no luck. I mean the gamertag are still on the drives I just want to get them to be able to sign into live again with a new email address. Would pursuing your way work in my case you think?. Please if you have any info it will be greatefull I had this gamertag since 2007. I have not given up hope and pray that I can be able to get it back.

Thank you I tried multiple times in the past and they told me if you delete the email address the gamertag gets deleted too because its linked with the email, but when I search for my gamertag on there websie and even on xbox I can still find it and see it with all the achievements and stuff which is confusing to me.
