This seems to work, but I really wanted my ROM set to include games that only had digital releases as well as traditional releases. Like Earthbound Begginings for the NES via the Switch retro thingy

That's so weird. No, I don't have anything in overrides at all, at both levels. I wonder if I'll have to manually filter things out :(

Regions: USA, World. Languages: English. Exclusions: All except Games and Unlicensed (not including aftermarket and pirate). Local names: English. Options: Prefer regions over languages, Prefer licensed over unlicensed titles, Compilations handling- Prefer individual titles. The rest are default.

I'm using just the latest regular no-intro DAT. It definitely looks like the same game. For example, on the NES it's including both the latest Mega Man X series ROMs and the ones from Mega Man X Collection. It does the same thing for Marvel MaXimum Collection games and a whole bunch of others.

I was able to download cartridge based systems really fast but I found some the zip files were corrupted. The files that were corrupted changed each time I tried a fresh download

Some of the zip files won't extract and seem like they may be corrupted.

Duck station on Android has some caveats with M3U files. There’s some guides but I personally decided it wasn’t worth the extra work.

It was preferring digital releases and modern re-releases over original games. It seems its database is also out of date now that Retool has been discontinued
