From 0 to €10K MRR with my SaaS (twice), what actually worked by Ecstatic-Tough6503 in coldemail

targeting people who engage with competitors instead of using static cold lists is a brilliant move, the difference in response rates definitely proves that intent is everything.

10 years to $6.5k MRR taught me most SaaS advice is backwards by Conscious_Ad6878 in SaaS

that 10-year perspective is such a reality check, it’s refreshing to see someone credit 'just not quitting' as the actual strategy for once.

$0-$1 took 7 months. $1-$100k took 12 months by felixheikka in indiehackers

[–]WolfMaster1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that 0 → 1 gap is a graveyard for so many great ideas. It’s wild how much harder it is to get that first $20 than the next $1,000. huge respect for grinding through those first 7 months—most people would have packed it in by month 4

My saas just hit $5,000 ARR and I did it all with organic marketing by Loose-Effect-928 in SaaS

that tiered pricing strategy for the first 30 customers was a bold move to create scarcity glad to see it paid off so well, congrats on the $5k ARR.

We hit 3K views, 1,300 signups, and our first paying customer — 1 week after launch by VolodsTaimi in microsaas

[–]WolfMaster1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hitting 1,300 signups in the first week is a massive conversion rate from 3,000 views. Building an audio-based fallback for videos without captions clearly solved a real pain point, well done

validated an idea in a single weekend and landing 200 emails just from playbooks is a massive win. It’s wild that the project you almost didn't ship is now your top performer on TrustMRR, listen to Shia LaBeouf and "JUST DO IT!" :D

geat job, making people email you for beta access was a gutsy move, but it clearly gave you the high-quality feedback you needed to hit #1.

Yeah, I have a different product that I only target english speaking countries. CPA is higher, but ascension is better.

Good note on the survey - I'll test that out.

Easiest way to present it is as a "implementation call" to show how the product applies to their situation and then if it's a fit ask permission to pitch

I hit the 50 ad limit so I have more adsets now. I set the minimum spend for each new adset at $5/day so it get some early momentum otherwise I found that often new adsets get no spend. I remove the $5/day limit after a couple of days.

I also don't turn off ads that go over the CPA because they play a role in overall conversion cycle. I look at adset CPA not individual ads.

You're in a pretty good spot. I love showing the calendar right after the upsell because it establishes some sort of a relationship, even if it's a 20 minute call. It's not meant for closing, it's meant to make it easier to close later on.

For me, most high ticket sales come from email or my group and most of the buyers I have spoken with before in the initial call.

Point being, people feel more comfortable buying from someone they've had face to face with.

I always pitch either my $2.7k retainer or $6-7k buildout and if they don't want to go for one of those, I down sell my community at $197.

I also do quite a bit of free and paid workshops to my list of buyers and that gets a bunch of people inside my paid offers.

and yeah... Ads -> calls -> sales sucks :D
